On the hub we always read about conservation efforts, not riding unmarked trails, even though there is, not creating new ones etc. Now I know there is some damag, but this is minimal!! This Statement/question and go on and on and on, but basically as hiker, mtb'ers, recreational fisherman, 4x4 enthusiast, we have to put up with alot of @@@###%%%$$ as far as conservation is concerned!!
But detrimental activities like Fracking for example is allowed!!! Africa is the last so to say untouched resource in the world. Things are only gonna get worst from here on in, mines and the like are gonna start popping up all over the place simply because africa is the poorest continent and money makes the world for round.

Hubbers Bikes spotted in Cape Town
05 September 2012 - 09:52
Yesterday afternoon I spotted an Orange Single Speed Kona, I think it was Monkeyboy-CT, around 5pm in Sir Lowry cruising at a decent speed. Lekker man!!
This morning before 8am I spotted a silver Bakkie with a Cannondale Jekyll on the back. Not sure if the rider is a hubber!!!

After I had an almost very nasty spill yesterday, I am very thankful to have walked away unscathed. I went flying over the handles down the side of the mountain and almost landing headfirst, I tucked and rolled thankfully, My second or third impact was this hard blow to my head. It took me about 10 secs to get up made my way to the trail, inspected to body, then realized my head, took of the lid and man I could have had a hole in my head if it wasnt for my Giro Indicator Livestrong and the Almighty. The pic doesnt do justice to the hole as it is about as big as my pinky and fairly deep.
