Hows the climbs? I'm used to training the whale coast route from Gordons bay up Clarence to Rooi Els.

Worst climb comes 7k's in - Ou Kaaps eastern side. Apparently it is like your pump station climb in Gordons Bay, whatever that is. Then it's over Black Hll, up Smits (part of the Argus), Slangkop and back over Ou Kaaps.

I did everything by the seat of my pants. That's why I got hurt so much.

Remember you coming back over ou Kaapseweg also...its going to be a leg worker but fun, similar to the Cobra but I think it might be a little faster as it looks like more descents :P :)
Unknown: "Are you Andy Schleck?"....me: "Why?"....Unknown: "Because your chain fell off when you shifted on the climb...."....me: "Yes I am..."

More descents = more climbs

anyways - you climb like a helium balloon so i'm sure you're not worried

Total ascent is about 950m for this race if I remember correctly. Check the mapmyride link for an accurate figure. Less climbing than the Cobra anyways.

Ho does black hill from that side compare to when you come from the other side like we did in Cobra, if that makes sense?
