It is not aimed at Garmin
I think you're missing an opportunity there. The Garmin Training Center software is pretty dodgy and I suspect most users wouldn't use it if they realised there was an alternative.

The online garmin stuff looks OK, but it's frustrating if you can't access your training info when the internet's down or the site's down etc.

Just seen this thread now and haven't tried it yet but will soon.

But one thing I would like to have is a feature that I can log rides as follows:
Road Training
Road Racing
Road Total
MTB Training
MTB Racing
MTB Total

The data for each is distance, time and ascent. Currently doing it manually in Excel but a program with customizable reporting and totaling would be great.
"Haltet die Klappe, Beine! Und macht wass ich euch sage."

Jens Voigt once challenged Lance Armstrong to a "who has more testicles" contest. Jens won... by five.

There is a Type field in the log under your type of sport where you can put in Race or Training. I will look into it to create a report that total the different types.

Thanks for the reply

I have uploaded a new version of the Idurance Training Tool that has a report as shown below. You need to set the Type of Training in the log item then it will group by that.

You can just install over your current version it does not replace your data.

Thanks enjoy the software.

Hey, R2, any chance of getting the source, or a pre-built *nix port?

If your BMI is incorrect you must remember to edit your User Details with your Length then it will work correct.

Thanks

Sorry the Software is not Open Source, I am looking at ways to make money in the future with the software. What my plan is to add Features that is payed features and only people with registered versions will be able to use the features. All the features in the current version will stay free.

The software is written in Delphi and Unfortunately there is no linux Compiler for Delphi, they had Kylix which is a Linux compiler a while back but they stop supporting Kylix. I have one user that installed on linux via Wine and it worked without problems. If I understand from the user he said you must just install the arial font in Wine otherwise the look is not correct.

You are welcome to ask for features and when I have time I will add it. The only time I will ask for money is when you put a deadline in the request, then I will have to Quote for the change.

Thanks

- Link with Twitter, our Facebook site and Youtube
- Some minor changes to improve navigation

for a full list go here

To download the software go here

The update will not effect your data - so feel free to just install the new software and log in as usual

We have also posted this under the training section here

I uploaded a new version v1.0.0.22. Added 3 things Backup, Restore and Export selected entries to csv file. The csv file can be opened in Excel so it can be used to send your log entries to your trainer. Enjoy the software

Been using this for a while now, really is very usefull but for some reason I can't delete any entries from the "plan" tab?

Also would it be possible to automatically delete a plan when moved to log? I realise that you would not always want this but maybe just a check box option type of thing?

Edited by Zaskar09, 21 September 2011 - 11:42 .

If you go into a selfhelp store and have to ask for a certain book, is that defeating the purpose?

Zaskar09 Thanks for using the software. I will look into your changes.

Domestique. I use the Nokia Sports tracker also, but the sports tracker you can only save limited amount of information. I then type the distance and time taken in the Idurance software where I can then fill in lots more info.

Thanks
