Here's my newly converted Diamondback Apex '05 model. I plan to blast and clearcoat the frame and get new wheels soon.
Mods include:

Gusset bachelor tensioner
Blackspire 38t chainring
Gusset cog 16T and spacers
Avid FR5 brake levers
Short gold chainring bolts
Selle Italia XO saddle
Schwalbe Speed Cruiser tyres
SRAM single speed chain

Any comments welcome.

Eldron's old school Raleigh:

Oooold Raleigh RM9 frame
Rockshox Duke Race
Mavic Cross Max Wheelset
XTR Vees
Tubeless Cross Marks (edit - hang on - those are Larsen TTs)

Initially it was built by "the SS code" - meaning everything was sourced from my own spares bucket but chain drops meant I had to add DA BOMB. The seat and grips are new too.

Pity the wheels are so small ;)

Not the best pics, but you get the idea...

Giant ATX 860, now ATX SS, removed the cable guides and brake bosses, acid bathed the frame, powdercoated matt grey, upgraded to disk brakes, and Tyronne did the vinyl.

S@B - that frame came out real nice...

What's at the bottom of your seatpost - is that tape or a shim?

Flossing? Where the hell did I get Munson?"

Thanks, the powder coating came out better than I expected.

It's a piece of inner tube taped around the seatpost, to protect it when I clamp on the Giant Half Wheeler to tow my 3 year old around the farm... Great for strength training! Will post some pics sometime!

Hi, Did you install a rear caliper bracket yourself?

Sorry I rushed off.

Hi GT, my frame had the brake braket on it, so was an easy conversion (ok, relatively, removing the v-brake bosses took some work with the Dremmel :)). Never seen any brackets to convert to disk.
