I struggled for the first 30km's until I "got my legs" (was feeling tired and lethargic up to then, must be because of hard 20km TT I did on Thursday afternoon). After that things went well, think we were second bunch of BL group. Worked nice and hard at front of bunch. At last waterpoint I had to stop because I ran out of water, and as a result had to let the bunch go. Took it slow up to finish from there on. Still happy with time. Better than anticipated.

I was a marshall on one of the corners, so I could not race. Looked like all had good fun.

I must have been in your group, I was in the Whasp kit.
I got dropped 10 km's before the end when some guy couldn't keep up with the the guys ahead and slowed us down and messed about 10 of us around. We tried to catch the main group but the legs were gone!
I finished with a 3:18.
Just a word of thanks to the young lady who decided to throw one of those frozen gauva drinks at us just before the turn to Hartebeespoort. She hit me square on the chest while I was doing 55km/h!
Anyone doing Dome 2 Dome?

Clint, if it was right at last Waterpoint, it might have been me. There was a good couple of guys sitting behind me, BUT I DID INDICATE MY INTENTIONS TO STOP AT WATERPOINT!!! Dont think I held anybody up, but a gap did form berween me and guys in front, as soon as I decided to stop. Was wearing the very bright kit with RUSTENBURG all over it (in case I forget where I'm from
)
BBI, very nice route, safe, good roads and few cars. A lot of drags (no real climbs) and you WORK all the way, especialy the last 30 odd km's,
Enjoyed the race a lot. Happy with my 3:20

Hi Wannabe...
Nope wasn't you mate, this guy didn't stop at all, he just slowed down, and then when we came past him and tried to pick up the pace, he went to the front again and slowed down, I have no idea what his problem was... (maybe I am just blaming him for my weak legs in the last 10km's)...
