There's a Maverick in the village. I saw it some time ago, then it disappeared- its still here. It isn't MJ Harker's bike. He posted a stolen Maverick, but its not the same one.
This one has a couple of features that I've never seen on a bike.
Spread the word. Quick. I don't know how long it will be around.

Good on ya Tumbleweed.
Come on everybody- follow T's example.
With some luck we can reunite the bike with its owner.

I haven't seen a road bike up here for a long time. A few MTB's are still coming up but they are cheap, low end and old. But occasionally a beauty gets its way here, like Intern's Specialised, Kleintjie's Trek and Wheelsuck's Felt Virtue, all in the top end, and all reunited. Now this Maverick. I reckon its unlikely that bikes stolen in CT will end up here.

It's not mine - mine was still in my "bike room" this morning when I left. What are the interesting features?

This is better discussed in private, no?

Whatever, i don't really care. PM me then if you want, I know quite a few customers running Maverick American bikes, as we used to import them.
I knew it wasn't MJ Harker's bike because he could not tell me what the speacial features were. There are 3 main ones, with one of the them being the name badge on the head set which is unique to each bike (other than the serial no). So if one of your customers can tell you that his Maverick, going by the name of X, was stolen, let me know, I will check it. I don't know if Mavericks come standard with this groupset, or with the other features, but its long travel, probably a downhill bike. There should be a data base of owners....
And BTW, thanks for caring.
