This one is for all the triathletes out there, or any one who has some info.



On the 28th of March there is this half IM distance triathlon at Buffelspoort dam, all part of the Miss Sexy pageant. Any of you know if this is a new event on the calendar? I see the website is still not fully operational, which makes me a bit uneasy about the whole event seeing that it is less than 3 weeks away...

Hey Gillie, im also trying to figure out whats going on there. I know there is a Ultra distance Afriman Tri at Rustenburg dam on the 28th as well but no idea where to get info

I see there are numbers you could phone for more info, I will try and get some more info and post it in the thread.



About the Rustenburg event, that would be very strange if they had 2 events on the same day so close to each other.

Spoke to Cobus, one of the organisers yesterday. The short version is that the water quality at Buffelspoort  dam is superb, very clear, clean water. The ride is going to be flat and fast, with a slight but manageable hill closer to the end. Cycling course is repeated twice, 22km out and back. Running course pretty much the same, flat, 5km out and back, repeated twice.
