Anyone know what the total climbing is for the Argus?



The 99er was just under 1100 meters on my dial.

My Polar hrm last year recorded 1335m climbing.

i was always under the impression it was around 1000m

I guessed it had to be more than the 99er.







Wynberg Hill, Smitswinkel, Boyes Drive, Chapmans, Suikerbossie.

Cumulatively, there's a lot of ascent there.

How much is the 94.7?

94.7 is about 1080. Argus in 2008 (without Boyes Drive) was also about 1080.



The 2009 wind made it the equivalent of climbing at least 5000 :)
As you get fitter, the hills dont get easier, you just go up them quicker!

I've got around 1050m for 94.7 2009 and around 1350m for Argus 2009.

methinks/hopes much faster.  Do not know we everything was so slow saturday. Weather was good and lekker route. Compare the winning times.

I got 1200m for the 99er on my computer.
Do it to the fullest, to the max, to the limit, dont stop till the finish, do it on your own - till you're finally shining.

I think the argus has more flatish (fast) sections with the 3 main climbs whereas the 99 was just up and down the entire way other than the flat section towards the silos.

The attached map shows total climbing of 1570m for the Argus route. I've seen 938m on Mapmyride Is there any consensus on this question?
