When you registered with Winningtime/Racetec they ask for contact details. Go and check yours and update if not correct.

I'm also in C group... Out of interest Wannabe, what is your PPA seeding? Just wonder how much it is based on that. I have just reseeded to G group for PPA.

Seems PPA seeding is the better of the two, I'm also G for PPA and had my work cut out to stick to the front guys with the Medalion. Then I got a provisional D for the BIG funride.

Were you still at the front at the finish? I was the idiot that sat back in the group for 105km's and then sprinted off for the last few 100 metres (was my first ride in G so didn't want to work until I know what speed to expect and that I'm capable of doing it).

Nope, did my stint pulling from Paarl and a good section of the road to Stellies. Ended up on dead wheel at second to last turnoff (one leading up to R44), could not get past quick enough, the elastic broke, could not get back up and then took it a bit slower to the finish. You guys put three minutes into me over that last 5 kilometers. Embarrassed

The last 30km's were seriously fast (after the walking pace start!)... Will do my share of the work this weekend though (if I am able to keep up that is!).

I'm also seeded in C. I reckon the bunch will move quite fast with most people hanging on and then the real splits will come at the climbs. I've often done races where I was dropped going 35km/h up a big roller but then catching the group again on the next climb. Btw I'm also seeded in G for PPA.

Encumbered forever by desire and ambition

Also starting in C. What sort of time will our bunch do? I'll do a bit of work at the front as I always do, anybody going to help me? - I'll be in the Cape Town Giants kit (white and blue)
I'll wait for you at the top!
