I have recently upgraded to a wireless powertap and linked it to an Edge 705 unit and it is working brilliantly.

I am having problems though trying to get the data file into Training Peaks. I have downloaded the latest release, but it only caters for the 205 and 305 and even using these settings, the device is not recognised.....

Can anyone help me in how to change the settings in TP or advise on how best to get the data into the program.

Read the help file?

Go to your My Computer and you will see a removable drive called Edge705 or something like that. Open this and navigate to the \Garmin\History\ folder.

In that folder will be all of your ride history files. Drag and drop a file into WKO+ to import it.

When you plug the 705 in, it should be refelcted as a seperate drive on your PC.  Open the History folder. Drag (or copy & paste) the file onto Training peaks. A dialogue box will open which then allows you to save the file.

As far as I know this is the only way to do it!
