"We noticed the talent John-Lee is harnessing, but also that technically he has never been taught much. That's where the headroom with him lies. With the right guidance and instructions, John-Lee can grow immensely as a bike rider. It's one thing to have the talent, but tactical insight is another. That's where we can help John-Lee during the coming season and see where he takes it."

The comparison with Dave Brailsford and Team Sky doesn’t just stop at the team’s ambitions. Associated with the team is a Sports Science company, Activeworx, led by Dr Carol Austin who seems to be every bit as geeky as Brailsford’s Secret Squirrels (and, sadly, to also feed from the same pot of aphorisms as Johan Bruyneel). Right now it’s hard to to say which of their riders will make an impression in Europe (Twenty year old Cherise Taylor who they seem to think very very highly of missed a lot of last season due to illness and is not on any team list for 2010 that I have seen).

I heard he is taking a big buck offer ASAP Strandlopers and WillieHond is coming out of WC League retirement to turn Tour riding climber into a Sprint ace.

Good to see that Neotel are continueing to invest in young riders like Day, Butler and Spies. Well done Eugene.

I think Neotel is playing around with a Nolan hoffman. He must go abroad and really start his cycling career.

Just my opinion and some inside info Wink

I agree. He is wasting his talent by riding the local prettrap every weekend.

Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.

Keep it single.
