Hey Frank you are mistaken, we averaged 25kmph on the dot today, there were 2 mtb's in the group.

Anybody can pitch, thats correct in the parking lot right there at saddles, startpoint doesnt change (for now as far as i am aware)

Also rode out there this morning.
160KM, avg almost 30.
Very tired.
BUT oh my gosh.
HOW FREAKING HOT WAS IT TODAY IN STELLENBOSCH
We only stopped riding after lunch time. Every tree that we went past I wanted to just crawl up and die peacefully in the shade.
I drank about 4.5L litres of fluids in 5 hours. Crazy.
I am so not used to that heat.

Geeeeeez we rode the DC on saturday, this is one tough ride and then you get the 40 degree temps to deal with, out of our team of 12 we lost 2 to heat exposure.
