I was scammed by Roy on 31/12/2011.

Advertised a Canon SLR camera on Gumtree with a lot of extras (like lenses, filters, etc)

Payment confirmation was sent to my phone, I also requested a e-mail confirmation, which arrived.

Happy with the payment, I delivered the goods (McDonnalds Eastgate)to a family member of his, Kelvin. He used public transport.

Needless to say, the money doesn't appear in my account, since I am using Standard Bank.

I was called today by someone that DIDN'T deliver a camera to Mr. ROY, so I'm glad the above mentioned info did help someone.

I don't sweat the small stuff, but for high value items i wont part with my money or the item i'm selling until i'm satisfied i'll either get the goods or the money.
