Is Silverback making headway on the road bike scene, or is it a still-born baby? Thinking of getting one as my first new road bike in 20 years. Any advice?

I got Silverback Monza. I am very very happy with it.
Remember the Neotel Team ride Silverback bikes, and well if its good enough for Nolan Hoffman and the rest of the team it must me good enough for you.

Have test ridden a few and can say they're well-designed, well-specced and excellent value for money.

I have a Silverback MTB and if it is anything to go by, then you can't go wrong with the road bike.

Mmm, now I want to rush out and get one! Prices very attractive. My main concern is RESALE VALUE - they seem to move slowly and at lower prices than brands with long pedigrees.

its very good value for money and great aftersale service.
resale value? all new bike prices takes a huge knock on resale!
check on gumtree and see how many silverback road bikes is on sale, not many if any

I also ride a Silverback (Monterey).
I agree they good value for money, buy a second hand one then you'll keep the re-sale value (more or less).
It never gets easier, I just get faster !!

It's not often that I'm passionate about a product, but Silverback is a brand worth being passionate about! My current wallpaper is of the Surplus 1 ...sigh...

I'll need more than a monkey to keep up with the bunch
