I saw an e-mail with pictures of this place underneath the earth somewhere near Switzerland a few months ago. It seems that they are trying to re-create the "BIG BANG" ( The exact time when the universe and earth was created ) The whole consept doesn't sound right for me, why do always have to question the bible with facts ?

Science is "IS" or "IS NOT". The Bible, if you believe in it, is "MAYBE IT WAS"

Okay, admin, close this thread before it goes too far.

Why does everyone thi nk that science and The Bible have to be at odds? There are certain unalterable scientific facts, and the Bible backs those facts, science very often proves the Bible. So what's the problem? For my part I truly believe in God, and believe that He organised the matter in the universe according to these scientific priciples into the world we kniow.

Please get your facts straight before getting into this.
It's at CERN and has been on the cards for 12 years, with a couple of thousand engineers from around the world working on it.

There are two scientist barking against it, saying it might cause for a lack of better words, " micro - black holes". this experiment has nothing to do with proving the big-bang, that is a given, accepted, done.

they want to determine interaction of atoms in first couple of billionths of seconds at a energy level of millions of electron volts, how elements came to be.

the end is not ney, they also expected the atmosphere to ignite when the first atom bomb was detonated.

The faeries have arrived, now all we need is a few more trolls.

But why did he bother with the scientific principles when he can do clever stuff like turn people into salt and water into wine, etc, etc. Also I can assure you that the creation of teh earth took longer than 7 days!

Religious people speak for all and the way everyone should believe.
Non religious people have their opinions and speak for them selves.
I this day and age I think we should accept that we have both and stop trying to prove one another wrong.

Yip, he should have spend a bit more time on the east rand. How many years ago was it created and nothing has changed.
