I've been considering getting a SB66/SB95 but there are so many issues with these bikes I think I'd prefer for them to mature first before I part with my hard earned cash. From what I've read there are cracked frame issues(mostly on the SB66), wheel against seat post and the most common being the bushes and bearings going with the "switch" technology it uses. Now before anyone says these are isolated issues, they are not. Many people have complained about the bushes and bearings going and that is even after they strengthened them. Just google and you'll see the myriad of problems with these two bikes specifically. On a positive note it appears Yeti have very good customer service but that doesn't detract from the issues, not for me anyway. A pity because I really like these bikes.

Comments ?

Can't comment on the Yeti but my Intense 5.5 is renowned for chowing pivots if you do not look after them really well. I have just replaced one broken pivot bolt. Small price to pay for an awesome ride and I don't mind the maintenance on them.
I love to ride fast. That is why I hate uphills.

Very attractive bikes. I have never owned one but I have noticed that on bikebay there are always plenty of them for sale. Dunno why, could be because people buy them and then dont like or there are so many of them around that is a natural percentage of them being sold.
On looks it must be one of the most attractive bikes around. Rest I really dont know.

Bikebay is around the corner from MSC so when peeps upgrade they sell their old one through Bikebay. A lot of Yetis at bikebay means many happy risers upgrading.
