Hey power to Albe, didn't use their products before sani this year but their crampblock the supplied in the goodie box safes my bacon on day 2 and their recovery shakes of which we also received 2 a day really helped. Just because of their presence at sani I have started using some of their stuff. Still on hammer perpetuam but for the rest USN all the way

If he wants to strap a s-works to red sports car who am I to say he has too much money

They are a local company with supplement prices on par with imported brands and import taxes on supplements are huge. In my books it makes them a rip off. They actually do not have such a good rep as we might think here on the hub. Out of principle i will not buy a USN product and all my fiends share this sentiment

Hope you apply that statement to other facets of your life ass well otherwise don't buy anything made by any major companies and make your own tv's, tablets, laptops, bicycle and farm your own veg & cows etc.

Reckon it is a sweet, if a tad unpractical, way to roll....

Why don't they have a good rep? And what principle is that?

They are only a major company in our little corner of the world. Their products might be ok but i do feel that being a SA company they can at least provide the local athlete with a quality product at a good price. They still would be making a killing. I am all for guys starting a company and making a success. I just feel they screwing the local supplement user. Here in SA people are actually very much loyal when it comes to local manufacturers. They are taking this novel attribute and nailing it......

I don't see them as ripping us off but rather giving back to the sport, they have their own mtb series, sponsors quite a few athletes / teams and has presence at races. Their products are on par with the big guns powerbar

Well, at least they are putting money back into local events (MTB races).....sponsorships....goodie bags.....Sani2C.....I do not see any overseas company/product doing that in SA!!!

I'll support them!!

Also like I said earlier when I crossed the line after day 2 I was proper moeg, there wasn't a rep from the other guys there...there was a USN guy handing out 2 recovery shakes. Just for this they can bank on my rands from now on.

I have to give them that! They are putting back into the sport. Just my perception that their products are overpriced compared to well reputed international brands, Your comments just emphasizes the loyalty attribute we have here in SA. It is good but can bite us in the ass sometimes.

There is/use to be a audi TT in CT with a USN sticker on it as well if i am not mistaken. At least the guys buy some nice cars with your hard earned money

Typical South African attitude. Anybody working harder than we are, or doing better than we are, is ripping us off.

How about being pleased for the guys that they are building an international brand, right here in miserable, negative South Africa, and showing some pride?
