You seem to try and defend him........but well .....hmmm you won't understand!
Defend? Yes. His decision, was ALL the mods decision. Easy as that. He was just the one doing it. It could have been any one of the mods online at the time. It was done AFTER DISCUSSION. Easy as that.
My wife always says "you don't understand"......must be me then.

Since when is it a forum rule that if you off Topic that the topic will be closed?
The rules state
Keep it relevant. We know that some conversations can be wide-ranging, but if you post something which is unrelated to the original topic ("off-topic") then it may be removed, in order to keep the thread on track. This also applies to queries or comments about moderation, which should not be posted as comments.
Those comments should be removed NOT lock the topic? And it also seems that we are not allowed to ask question about Moderation? Secrecy bill?
Come on Matt, Slowbee is not acting according to the rules, but rather like he owns the place.

You do know this is an internet forum right? That it is inhabited by (mostly) anonymous people saying and doing things they wouldn't normally because of said anonymity? Relevance to real life is approximately 0.000000000000000001%.
My advice? Make thumb and forefinger into tweezer shape and remove wet panty from g-line.
Enjoy the good - ignore the bad - it's a fine cyber credo.

In slowbee's defence - I dont think his like / dislike of me had anything to do with closing the topic. I know slowbee personally - heck - I even take my dogs to his wife's vet clinic. I'm pretty sure if he didnt like me, he would be passive agressive and close topics, but rather come to me personally
