Rode there yesterday and Saturday, fantastic riding.  Also, try out the Two Trees bakery and coffee shop on the premises, great place for mom and kids to spend time while dad is riding...  The play area has awesome swings, zip lines and climbing nets.

Thaba is fast becoming the premier riding venue in Joburg.  Thank you Wendell and your team!

Good to hear. Hope it is not too serious.
I love to ride fast. That is why I hate uphills.

LOL @ Iron, you are always late to the Party?

We ride Thaba atleast 2 or 3 times a week.

Don't know which trails you were riding, but I'm willing to bet you still only did 30-40% of the available track...

Wendell is the man!

Thaba is SUPER AWESOME!!!!!

What, think i need to start selling some parts too :whistling:  , give me more free time to ride in the week and not have to do it when its dark .

Did the route for the SS champs this coming weekend ( 30odd km )  so ya probly did not get to do the other 60% that there .

And remember late comers have the most fun .

I humbly thank you guys for your kind words. I agree, my team are proud of every inch of the trails. As more people ride there, the better the trails will become. We need rain and then you guys on your bikes. We will be hosting a 4 race series as a cross-country development drive. The bigger picture is the World mountain bike champs will be in Pietermaritzburg from 21 to 25 August NEXT year. No qualifiers so it will be open to all. I am hoping the road riders will join us. This series will be on a relatively NON technical trail of 5km. So, it will be fast. A mob match to sort out the rankings and if popular we will continue all the way to August 2013. Obviously the trails getting more and more difficult...dates ...1st September, 22nd September....6 October and 27th October.. start time 14h00 each day.
no matter what you do in life...take the punch.
