Those FR's came with the bike, but retail on them was around R8500 - R9000 ($1100) a set. Pretty pricey, but they were the WC DH wheel of choice for all the DT sponsored teams. I guess they're the DT equiv of Mavic Deemax.

I've put the tyres that were on the FR's onto the Spanks and they're heavy. So yeah, as I thought the Spank wheelset was originally lighter, but it was the tyres making the difference. Straight wheel for wheel... the DT's probably win. But it's the Spanks that are all boxed up and going leaving with me today.
