Hey guys
So my granparents borrowed my car to take them to mosselbay and back, they stayed for 5 months, right next to the beach! When I got it back, some areas had rust on it! Small patches on the edges of the boot lid and door corners etc. Is there anything I can apply to those areas to prevent it from rusting any further?

Started using hammerite about 2 years ago, on small rust patches, still holding up.
Take some water paper and sand the area down until all the rust has been removed and metal is shining. Border with masking tape, and then paint.
My car is forever getting covered in salt from the sea air, and I have tried all sorts of rust taker awayer's. Used hammerite on an old engine years ago and was real impressed when the rust did not re-appear. There color range is a bit limited, so the car is full of little patches. But it definitly halts the chemical reaction wich creates rust.
why swim up stream, when you can go with the flow and see were it takes you.
