Thanks to Solomons in PTA North I managed to find some affordable wheels, unlike the LBS's around me they had stock of some affordable options and there are also some bargains to be found as well! Why dont they LBS's realise not everyone has R2k to spend on low end wheels and why, oh why, can you not find a rear wheel for sale on its own? Anyway by driving 140km round trip I managed to save almost R800. Even if you take the R150 for petrol its still a huge saving.
My LMBS (Local MotorBike Shop) had some lightweight balaclavas and buff product look alikes for sale at a great price (bought both for under R100) so dont forget to support you LMBS sometimes as well! Same products in the LBS would have cost me twice as much I am sure!

It certainly pays to shop around . LBS aren't the last outpost for spares and accessories. They think they are, but they aren't .
Don't surrender your life to the momentum of mediocrity. Keep following your dreams and one day you will tick them off.

We'll chatting to the guys at Pret North branch they said quite a few of their customers were coming through from that side, that's why they opened the branch there, and why Alone moved?

Reliable staff are always a problem, specifically in retail. Alonie has been with them a while, hence his secondment. Anthony moved to Bruce's a while ago. From a reliable source I hear they are doing just fine at Gift Acres...

Woodmead Solomons also tops don't always return your call but do delver. Phoned yesterday morning for an item advertised on special which they did not have but said they would find if one of the branches in PTA did, heard nothing so phoned later and they told me the item had been delivered and was ready to collect. For my bother they discounted and already discounted item.
Check out their sale items.

When our lawn mower broke and wouldn't run, my wife kept hinting to me that I should get it fixed. But, somehow I always had something else to take care of first, the shed, the boat, always something more important to me. Finally she thought of a clever way to make her point. When I arrived home one day, I found her seated in the tall grass, busily snipping away with a tiny pair of sewing scissors. I watched silently for a short time and then went into the house.. I was gone only a minute, and when I came out again I handed her a toothbrush. I said, "When you finish cutting the grass, you might as well sweep the driveway." The doctors say I will walk again, but I will always have a limp.
