"I race for Momentum Racing (cycling team). Last night I was involved in a really bad cycling accident and my Rudy Project helmet literally saved my life (I attached a picture of the aftermath). Even though I have other helmets, our team's official helmet is the red & white Rudy project helmet. Also, considering how well this helmet protected my head, I'm not sure I'll ever be wearing any other helmet (everyone was shocked that I didn't get a concussion or any type of head trauma)." - Tomas Mundarain

“I want to say "thanks". I had a bad bike crash in April and my Rudy Project Slinger helmet saved me. The accident left me with 16 stitches to parts of my face, a concussion, and a night's stay at the hospital trauma center. My face/head hit the pavement after flipping with the bike, and I did not break my fall with anything but my helmet, then my face. Obviously #1 is the fact that I had any type of helmet on, but I'm appreciative of a product that works and ultimately saved me.
So, thanks for making a great product. The important part is that I was wearing it, but it's great to know that it does as advertised” - Brady DeHoust

Rudy Project Windmax saved me from head trauma...
As I explained in my email to customer service yesterday, your Windmax helmet saved me from head trauma in a bike crash yesterday. The helmet was dented and scraped, as you can see in the pictures, but my skull wasn't.
I bought the first one because it was the most comfortable helmet I had ever worn. I bought the second because the first one worked. I will definitely buy another Windmax, and I have already recommended it to friends.
By coincidence, while I was in the ER waiting for my xray results and stitches, another cyclist was put in the bed next to mine. The circumstances of his fall were identical, but his helmet broke into 3 pieces. Thankfully, it still saved his head, but not like the Windmax.
Thanks again,

I do like the Rudy brand but this is not exactly an achievement. It's the reason we buy helmets to begin with.
