Raait hubbers suggestions required pse:

Can anyof you Xterra types recommend a MTB compatible shoe suitable for off road triathlon?
By suitable I mean one that can be worn comfortably without a sock i.e. it has some sort of sock liner as part of the shoe internals.

Need to cut my transistion times down and stop wasting time trying to put socks on wet feet. My current mtb shoes are to small / history and looking for a new pair that wont chafe on my toe "knuckles"

You have mainly 2 options. The Sidi Terra or the Specialized terra mtb tri shoes.
The Specialized is awesome. Designed with the help of Conrad.
You can get them from R&A cycles in New York.

They are auper quick and very reliable. Been dealing with Phill (owner) for about 17 years now.

Thanks for the feedback, I've been trying to see a pair of the Conrad Specialized shoes but no seems to stock them here in switz. Do you know if the have a comfortable sock type liner inside or are they the same as normal shoes inside?

I bought a pair of the Sidi's last year from CRC but they were a size to big and not very comfortable without socks.

Both the Specz and Sidi dont have a tongue, which i suppose is to make putting your feet in them easier which is fine for racing but seems a bit spaz for normal usage....but thats just a perception as I have not used them yet still using my old shoes...
