Hi Guys

I am doing my first 70.3 next year in Jan 2013 with a few friends.

I am looking for accomodation for a few of us and was wondering if anyone has any ideas or contacts.

We may wish to rent a house or some form of self catering accomodation.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks

Ty

Lots of B&Bs in EL. The town comes to a stop for the race so expect a warm welcome, they love your Jhb tourist rands.

Google it, you will find plenty. If you going to have a car there, then a B&B on Bunkers Hill will give you great ocean views so you can be close but also have a good weekend in other aspects.

If you are completely race focussed without a car, get into one of the hotels/self catering places on the beach front.

Have a look on the 70.3 website, we booked at Reef Apartments, they were quite reasonable.

I'm also doing my first one next year, where do you train?

Hey @IronJ only saw your reply now.

Also booked at Reef Apertments with a bunch of people.

Do all kinds of training. Starting next week swimming again at Morningside VA with the swim squad. Also do UFO Bootcamp and then the normal runs and some cycle races.
