This is an alternative for people who do not like pedalling or can't. Fuel saver

these are actually quite nifty. Took one for a spin last year when the Tour 'd Afrique finished in CT.
You can still pedal the bike - it's just a couple of Kg's heavier.
Commute is the main market - you can use the battery to get to work = no sweaty body, and then ride the bike home = moerse sweaty body.
