try re-ordering
they have caught up with the back log so you should be able to order straight away
Shipping date is end of the month and I have exams, so probably not a good idea to get it any earlier...

Ordered in July sometime... still waiting... At least I get the Rev2 board and more RAM now, but super tired of waiting... Loving some of the projects on the pi blog.

I also had an order in with RS Online and it was taking forever. I then pleaced an order with Farnell and had the PI in my hands in two weeks time. I then waited another two weeks for RS Online, but then just cancelled the order with them.

Anybody interested in a raspberry pi? We have 3 spare as we ordered three and received 6 (it took 10months to get here though)
Make me a reasonable offer and we can talk.

Well running an OS off an SD Card will never be a PERFECT experience. Along with headless JAVA environment, A pi cannot be used as a mainstream PC. I have experienced Lag while opening documents and the web browser simultaneously which is of course due to the low Ram.

Then again, the Pi does hold its own it what it was intended to be, a fun new product that can be used for the basics like SSH and webserver hosting. I personally use it as a Media Player in my car most of the time and its been great so far.

Its not something that you will ever need in your life, its just cool to say that you have one Posted Image

I might have two to sell too. Both the "new" B spec and both including an RS case (black) - R500 per board (including case) - any takers?
