I like the remote cable design of that CB. The fact that it doesn't connect to the top of the post. (Although KS and Gravity Dropper have both sported this design already).
KS will only reach the shops in the UK summer.

Oh, I forgot the big question...

how many inches?

By todays standards 5" is a minimum. Any less and this may be dead before it hits the shelves.

5" indeed.

The Joplin has been in need of replacement for quite a while. Like how the cable goes into the collar. My only worry id that seat clamp. Looks similar to the current one which is a bit of a disaster. Like with all things CB I will give this a year or two before I would consider buying it.

100% agree with you here. The idea behing the joplin was amazing and when it's working it's great. But mine started leaking within weeks. Based on my experience with my Joplin i will NEVER buy another Crank Brothers product.

Pity, but true. Was the same with their 50/50 pedals, wheelsets, eggbeaters...function follows form for them.

Crankbrothers Kronolog dropper post

BikeRadar verdict

3 out of 5 stars

"Mechanically sound, it seems, but two months in the action is sticky, and it’s starting to show wear on the quill, which seems somewhat premature "

The Pinkbike review seems to indicate that it's already failing.

Yip. Echoes Bikeradar's experience. Pity.
