Shimano VS Campagnolo 2011

So Shimano's turn over was $ 2.1 Billion and Campagnolo's was $ 150 million in 2011

But......

Shimano caters for a whole lot of mtb'ers worldwide and they probably make more money of the cheap parts they put on their "Makro" and "Wallmart" bikes ( there must be millions world wide on every kid's bike riding to school)
than the more expensive road groupsets.

Now what if Campy brought out mtb groupsets, made cheapies for kids or worse fishing equipment ............
Cycling is like a church - many attend, but few understand.

And your point is???

Campy doesnt make Reels nor do they make cheapies!
They target a different market so in my opinion one cannot actully compare the two companies as the one caters for the masses and other opts to be EXCLUSIVE!!
