Nope went for a test drive a second time with a stock one, I loved it but my dad thinks it is too small and thus unsafe.
I don't agree with him and to be frank I had my mind set on getting one so I'm quite p!ssed off about it.

The Jimny got 5/6 and 6/6 in the JNCAP tests and has better airbags than my car as well as ABS.

I mean look at this, now how is the bigger car safer ? The bigger car is on its roof !
The guy in the Jimny had a scratched elbow. that's it.

At first I thought you had an accident on your test drive

Those H100 bakkie are so unstable though, you could push them over. I had a look at the Jimney at the weekend at a car display, and they look awesome.

No sjoe luckily not !

The Jimny is really cool, it suites my needs but also I like it, I want to drive it and go places.
Don't have that feeling with other SUV type vehicles.

Also I'm finishing my studies middle of next year, then I have to pay for the car. The jimny is cheap to run and maintain.
Looking at other options like the Subaru Outback, I hear is very expensive to service.

My dad doesn't seem to get this as he says he is paying for it, but I would only get the vechile at the end of the year so after 6 months I need to start shelling out. Aikona ! The I'll rather just keep the Ute.

Jeez dude, trust me, it sucks to pay for a car.The ute is lank cheap to keep on the road. No amount of offroading ability will increase your quality of life like not paying monthly car instalments.
