Hey,

A guy has a set of what he says are fairy new 2011 Mavic SLR's for sale......but.... I noticed the rim is all black...ie: does not have the milled alloy finish between the spokes on the rim surface... Could these be 2007/08 rims? Or did they make some like that in 2011?

This is not the 2011 version. Thinks its 2010 or older.

The tech from Mavic SA says they are Lefty Wheelsets from 2011...hmmmm....learn something new every day!

Those are 2009 SLR wheels,end of 2009 the 2010 stock came out and i was looking for a Christmas present but i wanted the shiny milled wheels and they were very scarce.The 2010 stock were the milled type wheels.

Maybe Mavic had an old set lying around?? Hmmm

If he says that they are 2011 then he must still have receipt for them.
What does he want for the wheels?
