Just to be clear - I didnt race. They opened the track to all us wannabe racers and I rode the course. Having said that, It was probobly more scary as the the track was filled with guys doing speeds way beyond their abilities. At one point I was doing over 200 and a guy passed me so close that he clipped my mirror. I then decided to try and chase him down. All I can say is I survived. Young, dumb and full of cum - but it was def the most awesome thing I have ever done.

Hahaha. Mad Sunday? It's my dream to go to the TT.

Did a few solo paragliding flights...that got the blood pumping!!

First time riding the Cobra...that also got the blood pumping...(those were in the days before I started MTB...)

My first jump was a let down - they psych you up so much in the course as to what could happen - mottled vision, B&W sight, lose hearing in one or both ears, temporary loss of memory when exiting the plane - nothing happened! I remembered everything 100%

The biggest rush was landing the first time........ and then the second time WITHOUT the batten man.

Going again this weekend.

My buddy and I did our first jump in Witbank in 1985. It was a static line jump from 3500ft. standing on the wheel holding on the wing strut waiting for the instruction to "go go go" was a blast. it was the landing that was terrible - the instructor misjudged the jump zone. we both missed the airfeild completly - i landed ok - my mate landed in the one of the dams of the sewage plant that was next to the airfield in those days - needless to say - he has never jumped again
Long ago when men cursed and beat the ground

with sticks, it was called witchcraft.

Today, it's called golf

LOL! can't really blame the instructor for missing the airfield - you steer the 'chute. Pretty k@k place to land though.
