Racing is like opening a lucky packet.
Dunno whatcha gonna get...

The weather
Punctures
Chaindropping
The pace fo the bunch
Your position in said bunch
Dead wheels
Your form on the day
Wheel overlapping

That unpredictability is one element of what I like about this sport.

Uhmmmm,

My point in abovementioned post is that it is tricky to compare your finishing time in one event to another.

Oh, I have it locked in, gonna be rain halfway round on Sunday. Enjoy, fellas. Oh, and be nice to the two slightly shaven headed kids giving you medals at the end. I'll be watching.

Only possible if you've down some serious training.
R4S is almost 20km longer than 94.7, so unless you can now avg 60km/h I would doubt it.
It never gets easier, I just get faster !!
