How can americans call the super bowl season as a "world championship"?

How many other nations compete?

I find that rather arrogant.
Out of the night that covers me,Black as the pit from pole to pole,I thank whatever gods may be For my unconquerable soul.In the fell clutch of circumstance, I have not winced nor cried aloud. Under the bludgeonings of chance. My head is bloody, but unbowed.Beyond this place of wrath and tearsLooms but the Horror of the shade,And yet the menace of the years,Finds and shall find me unafraid. It matters not how strait the gate,How charged with punishments the scroll,I am the master of my fate:I am the captain of my soul.

Yanks American and arrogant in one posting is an oxymoron. And then the dumb game drags on for hours.

They call them great athletes but they only play 10 seconds at a time (and they change around all the time offence and defence)..... and with pads and helmets.

Americans love to be the best in the world at games they created.

Same applies to the "world series" of baseball. Kazakhstan does not enter, so its not really a world series.

yeah, they are annoying that way. but, I do njoi gridiron tremendously, and more so now that the playbooks are 'revealed' via the onscreen mark ups the commentators draw up during teh playbacks. Brilliant game.

but if Naas can play for a season or two, how hard could it be right? :P

Naas did even less - he was just a kicker. Come on, kick ball, rest...

Would've loved it if the Pats could pull it off, but seems Giants have their number...

Have to defend them here I think the World Series was a news paper that had something to do with baseball thats why they called it that.(under correction) Still stupid name to call it.
