Hi Guys,

Do any of you, or do you know of anyone, who wants to sell / alienate / donate / discard etc any issues of MAD Magazine, preferably within the last 10 years. If so please send me a message.

Thanks.

Do you collect them JamesE? Or do you have another reason for wanting them.

I loved reading them some years back, I lost most of them but I still have a few laying around in various boxes, most a lot older than 10 years I think.

I wont part with them though, I only have a few left and I still occasionally pull one out and read it, just for old times sake, the other day I re-read an old one I found in which was a Satire on "One flew over the Cuckoos nest" with Jack Nicholson, they called it "One cuckoo flew over the rest" :D ..... gotta love them,.........!!

I am a bit of a hoarder when it comes to certain magazines, a pack rat maybe :) , as I also have a collection of old CAR MAGAZINES from the late 70's early 80's, Muscle and Fitness Magazines from the same era through the 90's, plus a few other's, Chopper magazine as well, which was a cult mag and eventually got itself banned for promoting drug abuse in the magazine and went out of business, I think I even saw a few newspapers from the USA from the 90's as well.
I want to die peacefully, in my sleep, like my grandfather......not screaming and yelling like the passengers in his car!.

I didnt know that, I'll go look, to me though its still Mad Magazine, so as you say "wont be quite the same" on the net.

How do the drawings come out, Mad had some of the worlds best cartoonists (artists) on their payroll, Dave Berg was excellent, his skill with a pencil is beyond belief, but Al Jaffee and a few others were also wonderful.
