info is available on the net.
on friday i found a doc (results for a mountain bike event a few years ago) that listed my name, id number, telephone number, address, medical aid number . oh and my time for the race.

at 94.7 there were lists with names and id numbers against one wall. now if you have an id number for a cyclist, you can go to cyclelab's online entry page and get access to, and change, the person's telephone number, medical aid details, details of next of kin, address.

when i asked for a password on my details, the administrator told me that no-onw would do such a thing :S

Guess we need a bit of education out there.

The scariest thing of it all is that armed with only a name and surname you can work out an ID number from the date of birth with the use of the seeding results website

I heard that it is possible to get a new ID number and have the old one revoked. I can imagine that it is not as simple as filling out a form, you might need a judge to sign off on it or something (= money :cursing: ).

Call 0860 101 248. I've got it on my phone for that one day that I might just need it. Good luck. Let us know what the number yields.
