Connex 7 speed (708 nickel coated inner & outer plates) for under a Buffalo from Chain. Less sideways flex although a little heavier than 9speed but lighter than BMX or halflink. A good compromise for me.

Half link chain, cause It was long enough, also use a R120 track chain when I change my gear ratio. Both quite heavy, but they do the job.

8 or 9 speed makes no difference... I have a new half link if somebody is looking.

R75 BMX chain. Does the job on my 1/8" chain ring.
