I think I am going to k@k because last year they did a faster time than VA. Could this be a blessing in disguise :-O

LOL! you gonna go easy or the first half to make the second half faster.....

It's a cool strategy for running.
Cycling is different due to the added benefits of bunch riding.

Hmmm...

Well, look at it this way, if you drop off, you know I am right behind you. Will definitely be a help to ride a good time - the bunch WILL be moving, even if it depends on me....... and you know how I ride.

1st time in Racing Vets.
Looking forward to the challenge.
Time is less relevant.
Racing well is most important.

Ok, lets edit that - Will definitely be a help to ride well and save energy for the second split.

E group 06:39 for me

The loose saddle fiasco at Die Burger has cost me a couple of start groups :whistling:

silly buggers you lot. I get to roll out of bed late, enjoy a bloody mary for breakfast and make it to the start line for 09H00. A more reasonable hour to go out for Sunday ride. All this talk of racing is nonsense. ;)

Just got a 'Q' start at 7:06. My buddy who I beat by a good 30 mins in last years Argus and equally in the Burger got seeded 'F' (only seeding races we managed this year). I was looking for a 3:10 - 3:20 time this year and decent paced group.

Little disappointed as how that worked out.
+1 Also in Q and must say also a tad disapointed... but we'll make the best of it... Next yr K or earlier.

C 6:33 but will query this as they didn't include the Tour De Outdshoorn which I intentionally did as it was a seeding event.

Only my Burger counted but all in all I am still happy.

H. 6:48.
Little disapointed. Down from E last year. At least my preparation is better this year, maybe I can still improve on my 3:21, weather permitting.
