Just got this;
In just less than six weeks’ time you will be lining up at the start of the Cape Argus Pick n Pay Cycle Tour and we know that you are eagerly awaiting your seeding and start time!
We have made small changes to the start line-up in the interest of your safety and to ensure that the later groups cross the start line timeously. You have therefore been seeded according to the following guidelines:
Participation in Seeding Events
If you participated in any of our official seeding events (see below), we calculated your index by taking into consideration:
- the distance and degree of difficulty of the course
- the size of the field and
- conditions on the day
- combined with your race result in relation to the winner’s time.

The following 2011 events were used for seeding:

There's a hunger still unsatisfied
Our weary eyes still stray to the horizon
Though down this road we've been so many times
