Has anyone used or is anyone using the Lizard Skin Shock boots. Do they work?

Actually seems like a good idea, like when forks still had rubber boots over them to keep dust out. I guess the dust seals are better these days than what they used to be, but if something that doesn't look too bad can help keep my fork in better condition for longer I'd be happy with that!

How much do they weigh? :whistling:
Out of the night that covers me,Black as the pit from pole to pole,I thank whatever gods may be For my unconquerable soul.In the fell clutch of circumstance, I have not winced nor cried aloud. Under the bludgeonings of chance. My head is bloody, but unbowed.Beyond this place of wrath and tearsLooms but the Horror of the shade,And yet the menace of the years,Finds and shall find me unafraid. It matters not how strait the gate,How charged with punishments the scroll,I am the master of my fate:I am the captain of my soul.

We use to use these back in the day , only problem is you will get mud/sand/grit under it that turns to grinding paste and scratches the hell out of your stanchions. The new lip seals used today are fine, I don’t recommend them.

Not sure about it...remember if it does a good job of keeping crap out, it will do a good job keeping it in. My 2c
