Ok im kind of highly peeved off, I choose to now live a life without credit cards, so i have a visa debit card which works like a credit card except you actually need to have money in it.

So i go and i want to enter me and a couple of mates for the Franschoek lions/porcupine challenge on my account. And i get politly told to F off, if you want to enter for this race you need a credit card, Go read the terms and conditions.

I will not go get another credit card, and I from now on refuse to support any race you guys sponsor. I prefer to pay cash, If you are too retarded to make the Visa Debit facility available from your switching provider thats not my problem.

Races are a dime a dozen, and you just lost about 7 entries i would have paid for.

Not saying anything pro/anti racetec, but did you e-mail them and ask if anything could be done?
Obviously it is frustrating but i'm sure they can sort it out.

Yeah said to them since CVS their switchiing provider is still stuck in the 80's whats the bank details ill go through all the effort to do an EFT,

this is their response
, you agreed to the waiver and indemnity page which states clearly that you need to have a valid credit card to enter online. You are not allowed to continue with the entry without agreeing to this waiver.

why not get a credit card and use it as a debit card? Great rewards that you do not get on a debit card. That said, it is retarded not having EFT or debit facilities.

After my now ex wife decided to take all my cards from the safe and spend about 200k on them i decided never to have one again, massive fee's no real rewards except perceived rewards. And a shitload of interest to pay back if someone gets hold of them :)

That aside i see no need to have a credit card as i have money in the bank, i dont need to make debt, or have that facility available it just costs money for the "conveniance" of having credit available.

Wife or credit card.? Or both.? LOL :)

Personally, I'd like to see PPA bring back some kind of easy entry ... one the of the biggest benefits of being a member that has been discontinued. :(
