If a bike has a SRAM BB, may I fit Shitmano pedals on it? Or is that like mixing riser bars and bar-ends?

And why do a lot of bikes these days come out WITHOUT pedals?

MJ MJ ... how the hell are you going to fit pedals on a BB? Please post a photo.

You'll have more luck fitting pedals on the crank. But if you have a Sram BB it is a GXP BB and your Shimano crank won't fit.

Why no pedals on new bikes?
A lot of entry to mid level mtb's come with pedals as part of the package.

Higher specked bikes (aimed at serious racers such as yourself ;) ) the racers normally have tried out a couple of different brands and prefer to install additional accessories of their choice!

I have a pair of nice bar ends on the Rellie MTB, and a even nicer new riser bar I want to fit as the straight & flat one on the MTB is really killing my back.

The MTB makes me ride in an even more earo position than my road bike :whistling:
And the SS has a colour-coded bell on ;)

Cycling is FUN, irrespective of teh rulez of teh fashionistas :D

Dude bar ends are the least of your problems on a rally :w00t:
