BTW got BMCfan doing a solo ride on Saturday on my way to the Mugg & Bean- some secret training by the looks of it ;)

We didn't do the whole route. Turned back up Adderley to get home early. Was a lekka ride, though. Weather was perfect, but getting hot towards the end.

It was a hard ride but enjoyable, realised my level of fitness Thanx for the company and if it was not for your bright light...there would have been less reflector beacons on Wellington rd.

And to think, we cut out the "worst / hardest" section of the race. The true test of your fitness comes from the Silo's to the finnish.
Was lekka meeting you and riding with you. :thumbup: Yeah, my light did help quite a bit. Would have been really interesting if we had to Klipheuwel in almost total darknes.

The race changing segment is Old M bury - Vissershok. - Odendaal finish.
That is the most valuable 30 km to recce.
