While meeting my commuting buddies this morning I was crossing Otto du Plessis at Woddbridge island (coming from Koeberg).
There was a car turning to drive into town and a car behind that which I couldnt work out what they were doing so I didnt go forward like I was supposed to. As I strated applying pressure to the pedal to go forward a screeching taxi doing about 80 came flying, swerving, smoking through the cars. He jumped the robot at such a speed that he would definitely have killed me if i were a few seconds ahead. He miraculously missed all the cars (I still dont know how).

Had he connected anyone then there would have been serious injuries.
