Please confirm that this race does go over Botmas pass?

It does yes - well the long route that is (126Km). The other two don't. See the route link on the first page. You can then see the map and elevation profile.

Rodn...

Your 'unfinished business' with Oom Bothma reminds me of the D-E rider who stood at the bottom of Naval Hill, limping on the 2nd turn with cramps.
I'm pretty sure he has a score to settle in 2013.

Will be riding this one without my polar. Im somewhat dependant on checking it frequently for haertrate and distance covered. Will be interesting racing with no dashboard. Some of my other friends prefer it actually.

On that subject: is it just me or has polar's local service gone backwards. Sent my watch in last monday and it is still not on their system. According to them its waiting in the line to be booked in. Is that a bit poor or am i being harsh?

RE Polar After Sales Service
I've been training and racing without speed/distance since late October due to battery replacement for my sensor. I should receive it this week after many enquiries from my LbS.

Dale i really hope you are joking! Waiting since October for battery replacements? That is all my watch needs. I'll call them monday. If not booked in i want it sent back. I'll get a local jeweller to replace battery and when something goes wrong again i'll just switch to garmin

I am too considering changing, J F.
For me, brand = trust.
I do not trust the Polar brand no more. Tch!

It'll be good to see how much distance is left on Sunday's race before I pop my Hammer gel!

See you Wellingtonners at the race!
