Hedianga Farm: The new mountain biking venue in Pretoria East
GPS Co -ords From Google Maps -25.806819,28.350426
Situated east of Pretoria "Hedianga Farm" offers an exciting new cycling, trail running, birding, and walking experience on the “Bronberge” Range!
If you are bored with your current routes, maybe its time for a change.
Yet you dont have to be a mountain biker, a trail runner, an orienteering tracker, or a bird watcher to enjoy "Hedianga Farm". All you need to be is an ordinary South African with a keen appreciation of the outdoors and a healthy love of nature.
Hedianga Farm is 140 hectare in size. It comprises the north facing slope of the “Bronberge“ mountain range overlooking Shere and Silverlakes, . There are approximately 12 km of old roads and fire breaks on the farm most of which are primarily perfect for pedal pushers yet also suitable for leisurely walks and trail running.
At present our staff have cleared in excess of 10 kilometres of track. We are gradually naming roads ,tracks and places of interest so that our guests can find their way around easier, and hope to identify sites for picnicking and camping. Currently in developement are the new "Tshona langa" and "Mnandi" Trail's
We welcome suggestions, costructive criticism, and advice. If you feel that you can make a difference please let us know.
