I've had my mtb for 1.5 years now. I've dried everything to clean the chain and cassette and I've thought that a chain stays sort of blackish. I read about XtremeGREEN product and checked their website and saw that if you buy 2 items you get free postage! So, I thought: 'why not?' Ordered the degreaser and the lube and received it earlier today.

From the moment I sprayed the XtremeGREEN on my chain I could see the silver shine through. And immediately I could see a difference where it touched my cassette. I nearly freaked out when saw how clean my chain was getting! I seriously couldn't believe the immediate results. I sprayed the whole cassette and chain, left it on for about 3 mins (as instructed) and rinsed it with the hose. And WOW! I haven't seen my chain and cassette that clean since I've taken it for its first ride.

I put the lube on, but I haven't had a proper test with it yet. I'll report back after this weekend when I've given it a proper ride.

I would seriously recommend this to any MTBer who's struggling to keep his chain/cassette clean. This product gets a serious 2 thumbs up from me!

it's better if u take the chain off teh bike. get better results cleaning it and the cassette and chainrings. I use the cleangreen. I wonder if it's any way affiliated with XtremeGreen.

nah: checked the site. not the same.

Thanks for the headsup and product feedback!

Hmmm maybe I will check this out...
Currently use CleanGreen, pour it straight into chain cleaner gadget, works well...
Don't compare yourself to others, they are more screwed up than you think

I've used clean green and it's never gotten anywhere near the results I've gotten. I feel like a brand ambassador - that's how much I'd praise it Posted Image
