As per subject, can anyone recommend a good pack for lugging around a laptop (15.5")? Also does anyone know of a model that supports a laptop AND hydration? Or is this the holy grail?

Hmmm the 1 reason I dont cycle to work and back is because my laptop weighs 3kg's. I cannot imagine lugging a laptop and water being at all pleasant.

twiga ASG advertised one a while ago that was really cool it had a built in solar panel for recharging i dont remeber it having an hydration option, maybe contact ASG for more info or else Belkin make a back pack that i use but also no hydration system

I have cycled with my laptop before - I used a Targus Campus backpack which did the job 100%. I would not recommend including hydration in the same backpack for the simple reason that if it leaks (and it will happen) then your laptop will be kaput. Use a bottle instead! If you are looking for this Targus backpack, I also happen to have a brand new one (in black).

I load in it my clothes (excl shoes), laptop, lunchbox and some other add-ons for the laptop no problem. Use a bottle instead of a hydration pack.

First Ascent Orbit 35. Can take hydration and laptop, with food, clothes etc. Also has straps that go around the chest. Has a waterproof cover that you can pull over, which actually works. Brilliant piece of kit, oh and has a little side pouch for the pepper spray quick access.

Dakine Duel. Ok, so it may not have a hydration pack... but it looks awesome and has a mini cooler bag that can fit 3 red bulls
