We are conducting a study to establish how prevalent back or pelvic pain is among cyclists using road bikes. We also want to determine which factors contribute to the development of this pain.
The aim of the study is to develop preventative strategies and interventions in order to reduce the possible occurrences of lower back or pelvic pain in cyclists.
The study will be divided into two parts:
  • Part 1 - the completion of a quick questionnaire
  • Part 2 - a free physical assessment done by a physiotherapist to assess factors associated with the development of lower back or pelvic pain.
Even if you have never experienced low back pain or pelvic pain, we would like to ask you to please complete this online questionnaire. It will take no longer than 5 minutes to complete.

At the end of the questionnaire you will get the opportunity to indicate if you would be interested in participating in the second part of the study which will entail a physical assessment.
Take part and make a difference for cyclists!
