Glo my ekt my fair share van rock strikes al gehad! [img]
Foot out, flat out.

Jonkers is awesome, is net bietjie 'n trip vir my.

Thanks for the input Sean, I'm definitely going to see if I can ride one first. On the narrow bars, I ride with them anyway (645mm MonkeyLites) at the moment, so I think they setup may suit me.

Is that your steed in the picture?

Yes, that is my current steed that I have been the very proud owner of for the last 3 months. Has a full XTR 2012 Trail Group set, Thompson Stem and Seetpost, FSA Carbon Nano Flat Bar 600mm, Easton EA90 Wheelset wiht WTB Bronsons Tires. My personal favourite is the Rock Shox Revelation XX Carbon Tapered Steerer that flips between 120mm and 150mm, Adjust by actually changing the Shock height so going to 150mm slackens me out even more

Absolutely. I currently ride a Revelation 110/140 on my Intense, it's amazing how shifting between the two travel settings can change the bike completely. My dream spec would include a Revelation XX.

.Greg Minnaar rates it as his favourite bike of all time, even though we obviously have to take his sponsored opinion with a pinch of salt.
i take it he can't include the Honda as none of us could dispute it

I heard somewhere that his Honda was apparently a piece of crap, which makes how fast he went on it even more impressive. Don't have anything to back this up though, do you have any info on how good (or not) it was?

He said the drivetrain had a lot of friction..but not to sure.. I recon one can learn to ride anything fast... as he proved when riding the ciclocross bike on supercycling that time...
